Summary

I am an ex- Indian Coast Guard officer with 12 years of service. After coast guard service I have been in the Merchant Marine since 1998 and in the offshore sector since 2003. Having been brought up since childhood in military surroundings owing to my father serving in the Indian Army, I have taken life as a challenge. I strongly believe that “there are no free lunches” and it is only hard work that brings success. During my sea career, the military upbringing have come in good stead.
During my DP training phase I took on the additional role as Ships Security officer and put in almost 16 hours of work daily so as to justify the SSO role and to be able to complete the DP training as well.
I am presently seeking new challenges in the offshore industry as Second Mate DPO.
